Question: What are Target Nation’s?
Answer: Nations on which we, YWAM Montana have chosen to focus our on-going efforts.
Question: What are the Target Nations of YWAM Montana?
Answer: To date we have five nations: India, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand and Ukraine.
Question: Why and how were these nations chosen?
Answer: We felt the need to increase our effectiveness in our overseas outreaches and ministry and recognized that as we repeatedly took teams to certain nations, relationships were built and working together was beneficial to everyone. However, the most important reason was the result of concentrated prayer and intercession and the direction of God as a word to us. The first four nations, India, Nepal, Thailand and Ukraine were adopted in 1999, Taiwan in 2008.
Question: What are Strategic Partners?
Answer: They are YWAM Ministries within our target nations, with whom we work in mutual agreement.
Question: What is the purpose of Strategic Partnership?
Answer: We are committed to serve as Strategic Partners, assisting each other to more fully achieve the potential of our callings and unique giftings, for the purpose of developing cooperative ministry that will
be mutually beneficial for outreach, discipleship, and the establishing and mobilizing of the local church within our Target Nations. *****We do this by coming along side them in tangible ways to help them fulfill their vision and ministry and by building relationships, sending short term teams, resources, finances and staff teams to fulfill specific needs in their endeavors to further the Kingdom of God.******
Question: What are the needs in the Target Nations?
Answer: Though the needs in the nations are various and many, several needs/requests in common are: Administration, Bible Teaching (SBS), Community Development (FCD), Primary Health Care (IPHC) and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
