Lecture Phase

Course content:
The course content is designed to give you the necessary skills to begin teaching English straight away. The four-week intensive course includes such topics as:

• Biblical principles for language training
• Linguistics
• Theories and styles of learning
• Cross-cultural orientation
• Classroom skills
• Syllabus and curriculum design
• Integrating language skills
• Test and evaluation

PROGRAM
The program is from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, comprising more than 100 hours of lectures and small group presentations. This will include oral and written assignments and assessment. Weekday evenings will be used for Practicum.

PRACTICUM
This section of the course includes hands-on experience with 26 hours of realistic on-the-job practice teaching with English-language students from a variety of nations.
