
The Audio Engineering and Production Apprenticeship takes place in a working studio (Studio 501) and is designed to give the apprentice hands-on experience in producing and engineering music. It is a highly specialized program focused on all technical aspects of sound production.
Lecture Phase
The apprenticeship program will cover two fields:
Engineering: all technical aspects of sound production including mixing, processing, basic electronics and sound reinforcement.
Production: Music theory, song writing, arranging and music appreciation.
ProTools is the industry standard for audio production, and although we are not a ProTools certified school, our training does include the basics of ProTools along as well as a variety of other recording software.

Prerequisites
Completion of the Discipleship Training School and Field Assignment (DSP 211,212 ) or Crossroads Discipleship Training School (IDS 703/704).
